The Renaissance Library as public library, in collaboration with Kamalamai Muncipality-09, organized a cybersecurity awareness program at Sahid Rishiraj Devkota ‘Ajad’ Smriti Bhawan, Bhiman, Sindhuli on the title “Digital Resilience: Building safe and smart online presence” in hope for Educate, Empower and aware.
The Renaissance Library was established in Bhiman, Sindhuli serving the local communities for improving their reading habits, awaring their intellectualling abilities through providing their interested books, and organizing awareness program. It was established by the community, for the community and of the community
The program is conducted by our Library’s member and youth entrepreneur, social worker Shanti Prasad Chaulagai as the head of such cybersecurity awareness program and initiated by library’s President Shivaji Chaulagain, program hosted by youth entrepreneur and social worker Gobinda Gautam.The other organized teams are youth Anish Thapa and social worker Bibek shrestha.
The chief guest of the program was Manju Devkota, Upamayor of Kamalamai Municipality, sindhuli. Guests were subinspector of area police bhiman, Ward head of kamalamai municipality-09 and youth motivator Binod Pradhan.
Targeted audience were class 10,11 and12 from school of bhiman area: Kamala Academic school, scholar’s academy, Jana Jagrit Higher secondary school, Pragatishil Secondary school, dandatol, sindhuli. Others were teachers, leaders, social worker, entrepreneurs, youth and others

More than 150 students were present in the program of cybersecurity awareness.
The Keynote Speaker was given by Cybersecurity expert and CAN Federation General Secretary Chiranjibi Adhikari highlights the cyber crime cases in nepal and how to minimize the cyber crime inidents in nepal.
The main theme of the program was “Let’s build secure sindhuli.”
Objectives of the program/learnt/Expected result of the program: Reduces Risk of Breaches: Educates employees on recognizing and avoiding cyber threats, significantly reducing the risk of security breaches. Compliance with regulations: helps organizations comply with legal and regulatory requirements for data protecting and privacy. Library’s team will also focus such types of activities around the sindhuli district for empowering and awaring community
