The Nepal Chamber of Commerce in Kathmandu appointed Chiranjibi Adhikari as the Cyber Security Advisor for the IT Software and Technology Committee. A subcommittee of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce has appointed Chiranjibi Adhikari as the Secretary-GeneralĀ of the CAN Federation.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce, Kamlesh Agrawal, expressed hope that they would get support and some suggestions about cyber security. Mr. Vijnan Shrestha is the Chief Executive Officer of ChamberIT and the Chairperson for the IT Software & Technology Committee, Chambers of Commerce.

About Chiranjibi Adhikari
Chiranjibi Adhikari is the former president of the Center for Cyber Security Research and Innovation and general secretary of the CAN Federation. He has more than 2 decades of experience in teaching cyber security and currently teaches at Softwarica College and Texas College. He is the Cyber Security Advisor of the IT Software and Technology Committee at the Nepal Chamber of Commerce.
His name was proposed by Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, President of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, for his 14-year-long practice in the Nepali cybersecurity area. Adhikari is also a Secretary General at the CAN Federation, former President of the Center for Cyber Security Research and Innovation (CSRI), and Founder President of Information Security Response Team Nepal. He has been teaching cyber security for the past two decades and is currently a professor at Softwarica College and Texas College.
Mr Adhikari is accredited with global certifications in IT fields and has made presentations on important topics like information security, cybercrime investigation, and various concepts involving information systems, such as governance of IT, the role of AI for cyber security, and ISMS, which are related to the enterprise-level risk management area within these domain sectors, with his expertise and real-time practical knowledge too. He does research and Ph.D.
He is a cyber security personality in Nepal. He is the General Secretary of the CAN Federation and was recently appointed as Cyber Security Advisor at the IT Software & Technology Committee, Nepal Chamber of Commerce. Adhikari has more than two decades of professional experience, and he has served in different significant roles, such as the former president of the Center for Cyber Security Research and Innovation (CSRI) in Nepal.
Adhikari, who is also serving as a cyber security instructor at Softwarica College and Texas Colleges, added to his leadership roles. This is demonstrated through multiple international certifications in information security, IT governance, and artificial intelligence use in cyber defence. Under his leadership, the Nepal Chamber of Commerce is planning to tighten its cyber security and, at this crucial point, will acquire priceless insights and support.
