Android 15 includes partial screen sharing, satellite connectivity support that allows messages to be sent and received without signal, new-in app camera support, universal toggle for keyboard vibration control, sensitive notifications, high-quality webcam mode that lets the laptop connect with a phone’s camera, persistent taskbar for large screen devices, richer widget preview, new colour contrast settings and more. Also, App Pair allows two apps to be used simultaneously. UI is designed such that it lets smooth animations and app developers can customize the notification. Compared to Android 14, this version has overall visually appealing elements.
Performance and Battery Life Improvement
It is said that Google has sped up the doze time by 50%. Battery life has been improved by up to three hours in some Google devices. It will have a smoother performance than Android 14. Multitasking capabilities increase and limit background activities, the battery life has been improved.
Integrated AI
Android 15 has integrated AI features such as better photo organization, automated routines for smart home devices, automated system settings and more. The Theft-protection functionality integrated with AI helps to find the phone if it is lost. In such cases, your phone automatically locks your phone and can be only unlocked by manually uploading your Gmail information. Along with this, Gemini Nano is also integrated into this latest version. Some other features include image generation, image expansion, sky replacement, video brust and more. All the AIs integrated into Google products can be seen in the Android 15 version. If any apps are not used for long then it automatically keeps in app archiving which clears out storage.
Auracast
This version of Android allows broadcast audio from mobile devices to multiple devices like earphones and headphones at once using Bluetooth LE Audio.
