Android phones will soon have a feature to automatically identify spam calls. This feature was announced at Google’s annual developer event, Google I/O 2024, on Tuesday.Google will use the Gemini Nano AI model for this. This model will determine if a call is spam based on the user's conversation. For example, if a call from someone claiming to be a bank representative asks for a PIN or password, this system will automatically alert the user that it is a spam call.
